About

Netherlands Typography is a project by Arno Verweij that documents public typography in the Netherlands. It started as an expansion of Amsterdam Typography in 2020.

The interactive map on this website currently contains 478 data points with 513 photographs that also have been published on Twitter. These data points, which include descriptions and links to the original tweets, are sorted by place for easier navigation. These 75 places can be selected below the map.

You can stay up to date by subscribing to the news feed (RSS) or by following the project on Twitter.

The website is hosted green and sponsored in kind by Greenhost.

For the map, images of Kadaster, place boundaries of OpenStreetMap, and software of OpenLayers, Proj4js, and Elm-pep are used under their respective licenses. You may experience issues with the map in very old browsers.
